grug studio is a retail shop with a difference as it is collectively stocked and manned by our artists and craftspeople.  All orders are sent from the grug studio premises, enabling us to combine orders from different artists, saving on shipping costs for the customer.

Almost everything on this website is available for picking, packing and shipping immediately as we update the web every week based on what we have in the studio. We aim to despatch orders received within 5 working days but if an item is not in stock, we may decide to hold the entire order until all items are available.  Should this happen, we will contact you immediately with a projected delivery time.

Please let us know before placing your order if you need items by a certain date and we can advise on delivery times.

As a special launch offer, all orders will incur a delivery charge of just £5 regardless of how many items you order. (The only exceptions will be very heavy, bulky, perishable or fragile items which require special carriage and insurance. These items are clearly marked and if ordered, will be priced as shown below.)

Just as most of our items are made from sustainable and/or recycled, local materials, so do we endeavour to use recycled packing material.

We will always get proof of postage on each package.

SPECIAL DELIVERY

If you wish to have your order sent by a different method: Next Day Delivery, Recorded Delivery or Courier please email or call before placing your order so we can quote the correct price. It will be charged at cost plus a standard £2.00 packing charge.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY – BFPO, non-mainland UK and Overseas.
Postage is charged at cost plus a standard £2.00 packing charge per order.
Please email your order details before placing and paying so we can let you know the delivery charge. The weight and size of our products varies enormously and we want to get it right.

Note: All overseas deliveries are subject to local imports and duties, and may be affected by customs and excise delays. Please note that grug studio cannot be liable for any import duties and taxes imposed.

RETURNS

We understand that no matter how fabulous an item is, it may not be quite what you expected or wanted. if that is the case, please let us know by email or by phone within 7 days of receipt. The sooner the better! As the items in grug studio are often unique or supplies limited, we request that if you are returning an item for whatever reason please let us know as soon as possible and we can let someone else know it is available.

In the event of goods being damaged on receipt, they should be returned for our inspection immediately. Under no circumstances must goods be used when damaged, as you will be deemed to have accepted them in their damaged condition. Before replacement goods or refunds can be issued, goods must be returned for our inspection and if necessary the goods may have to be returned to the maker for testing/investigation.

Please use the bag and label provided by grug studio to return the goods.

You will receive a receipt and a separate delivery and returns form with your goods. Please complete all the details on the returns form for each item you are returning including the reason for your return. Please give as many comments as you can. This feedback is very useful.

We strongly recommend you obtain a free 'Certificate of Posting' from the post office as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. For peace of mind you might want to send the goods Recorded Delivery but we regret we cannot refund this charge.

Postage fees will be reimbursed for justified damaged claims but post and shipping costs will not be refunded for non-damaged goods.
